Will we receive the rights to print our images ourselves?
Yes.  You can take your photos wherever you’d like to have them printed.

Are you willing to travel?
Of course! There are a few expenses such as airfare, gas, and hotel that go along with a destination wedding. Travel is included within a 60 mile radius of where I live (Marine City).

Do you back up our photos?
While we’re shooting the photos, they’re instantly being recorded to two separate memory cards for extra safety. I back them up ON SITE, then as soon as I return home from shooting is back them up another three times. I keep one copy at home, one in the car, and one in my studio. I’ve never lost a photo, and take precautions to never let that happen.

What kind of equipment do you use?
I use professional Sony brand cameras and lenses.

How much touching-up do you do?
In post-production I dial in exposure, contrast, saturation, sharpness, and a few other things to make the photos look the best they possibly can.  I also remove any blemishes I find distracting, but don’t do crazy airbrushing or anything extensive. I want you to look like the best version of yourself!

Do you provide printing services?
Yes, I work with a world-renowned professional printing studio to offer a massive collection of high quality prints products. They’re affordably priced, and available to you in your own Wedding Print Shop.

How long have you been photographing weddings?
I started photographing weddings in 2009. I trained for a year or two until I was comfortable enough to tackle a wedding on my own. At of the end of 2016, I had photographed over 100 full wedding days and edited tens of thousands of images.

When should we book our wedding photographer?
Most couples book their wedding photographer a year or so before their wedding date.  With that being said, the more time you give us to get to know each other, shoot engagement photos, and start planning photography for your wedding day, the better.  If you wait too long to book, your date might already be taken.

How much do you charge?
I offer a handful of different wedding photography packages, starting at $1700 and ending at $3000.  Contact me for more information.

Have you won any photography awards?

Are you available for our wedding date?
To find out if I have your date available, send me an e-mail.

How much money do we need to put down to reserve you for our date?
$975 down (plus sales tax) will reserve me as your wedding photographer.  The remainder of your package price is due two weeks prior to your wedding day.

Do you work by the hour?
Your wedding day is so important, and I want to tell your whole story. That’s why I only offer full-day coverage (8 hours). You can always add on hours if you think that isn’t enough.

How many photos will we receive?
All packages include at least 500 full-resolution, edited digital images.

Do you bring an assistant photographer with you?
All of my packages with a second shooter include six hours of secondary coverage.  This second photographer typically photographs the guys getting ready (while I’m with the girls) and provides a second point of view during the ceremony. While we’re taking family photos and creative portraits, your second shooter will be photographing all of the details at the reception hall, and grabbing portraits during cocktail hour.

Will you bring a back-up camera to our wedding?
Yes!  I have a backup professional camera that come along with me to each wedding.

What is your turnaround time for weddings?
Turnaround time for all weddings is approximately 30 days.  Turnaround time for wedding album design is 2 weeks, and turnaround time for printing services is just 1 week.

How much do you charge?
$500 as a standalone service, but cheaper in a package!

How many photos will we receive?
All engagement shoots include at least 25 full-resolution, edited digital images.

When should we shoot our engagement photos?
This depends on what you’ll be using the photos for.  Engagement photos are perfect for save-the-dates and invitations, so if you’d like to use your photos on those, let’s shoot a week or two before you plan on ordering them.  If you have a busy schedule and want to get the engagement shoot out of the way when you book, we can do that as well. I’ve even done engagements shoots as little as two weeks before the couple’s wedding.  It’s all up to you!

How long do engagement shoots typically last?
Engagement shoots typically last around two hours.

Can we have an outfit change?
Sure, if you’d like!

Where should we shoot our engagement photos?
The best place to shoot your engagement photos is somewhere that is important to you: maybe the place where he proposed, where you met, somewhere you spend a lot of time together, or even just somewhere you find beautiful.  If you can’t think of anything, I have lots of ideas floating around.

What is your turnaround time?
Turnaround time for engagements is just 1 week.  Turnaround time for engagement album design is another week, and turnaround time for printing services is just one more week.
